AFTERNOON ENERGY DETOX SUPERDRINK!

This is one of the easiest, healthiest, energy-supporting drink you can make. It’s a perfect afternoon “pick me up”, and also excellent for pre-workout fuel, as well as post workout recovery. Three simple ingredients are all you will need:

1. 2 cups of organic Coconut Water

2. 1 Tablespoon of Chia Seeds

3. 1 Tablespoon of a pure Green Powder (my favorite is Vitamineral Green)

Mix, the green powder into the coconut water and shake with a shaker bottle, or with a fork until the powder is fully absorbed. Add the chia seeds, stir, and let it sit for about 10 minutes. That’s it! Drink, enjoy and feel amazing.

  1. Hydration for athletes
  2. Reduction of blood pressure
  3. Omega-3: Chia seeds are actually the richest plant source of Omega-3’s, which protect againstinflammation. They contain more Omega-3 than salmon, with no heavy metal worries!
  4. Blood Sugar. Chia seeds slow down how fast our bodies convert carbohydrates into simple sugars, and studies indicate that they can actually help control blood sugar.
