STOMACH AND INFLAMMATION HEALING LEMONGRASS GINGER TEA

Mindful tea drinking is truly one of the most healing rituals you can practice. When you use high quality, organic herbal and medicinal teas, you bring the healing to an elevated level.

Lemongrass is known for it’s incredible digestive soothing properties because it contains compounds that kill bad bacteria in the digestive tract and help repopulate good bacteria in the colon. So, drinking lemongrass tea can help with indigestion, constipation, heartburn, diarrhea, bloating, flatulence, stomach spasms, and cramps.

Lemongrass has also been shown to have cholesterol lowering properties, and can help with the oxidation of LDL(bad) cholesterol in the blood, which in turn helps prevent arterial plaque buildup. A University of Wisconsin study also found that regular consumption of lemongrass caused a significant decrease in blood fats.

Nutritionally, lemongrass is a good source of vitamins A and C, folate, folic acid, magnesium, zinc, copper, iron, potassium, phosphorus, calcium and manganese.

Many people know that ginger is a superstar among the inflammation-reducing plants. So the synergies of these two herbs are incredibly powerful in soothing and calming digestive distress, reducing inflammation, and helping you achieve clear skin.
